Apple does not allow apps to be installed from a website — only from the App Store. So on iPhone you use the website version. It holds the same trips and the same group as your friends' Android app, and once you add it to your Home Screen it opens full screen, like an app.

Open this page in Safari (not Chrome), then tap the gold button above.
Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow, at the bottom of Safari.
Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add at the top right. The icon is now on your Home Screen.
Open it from that icon. There is no sign-in — you are straight in.
Joining someone's trip? Tap the invite link they send you, and it opens here.

All the trips, expenses and who paid for what
Split every expense and see who owes whom
Settle up, the kitty, the people in the trip, the activity list and the category summary

WHAT IS ONLY ON ANDROID

Trip memories and photos, the replay, insights, fuel, the PDF report and the postcard

Keep the icon. This phone is remembered by Safari itself, so don't clear your Safari website data — and use the Home Screen icon rather than a private window. On a new phone, ask for the invite link again.
